So the World May Hear...

I had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer with the Starky Hearing Foundation as they gave out 125 hearing aids to deaf people in the DC area. (Starkey travels all over the world donating hearing aids to people who would not otherwise be able to get them) My friend Justin got me involved with the organization and I am so grateful that I got to be a part of this life changing event. I got to help out in the counseling area. I taught the recipients how to use, care for and protect their hearing aids. It was great to see how excited these kids got as they began to hear, some of them for their first time.
